Face lipofilling ( Fat Grafting )
Fat is a natural filler used for restoration and augmentation. Issues such as rejection or illness transformation do not occur because fat is taken from the patient’s own body. Surplus fat for surgery can be collected from any part of the body such as outer thighs, abdomen, and love handles.
Restoration (melting) of some fat occurs in spite of all efforts to maximize survival of the graft. Overcorrection may be performed during Fat Transfer in Armenia to compensate the restoration. Fat Transfer improves the quality and texture of the skin are where the procedure was carried out. The origin of the phenomenon is not investigated enough, but it is assumed that Restoration is related with the abundance of stem cells in the grafted fat (autologous fat).

Fat Transfer Incisions
Fat Transfer procedure consist of:
1. Collection
2. Grafting.
These procedures result in small puncture wounds ( each of them having a diameter less than one millimeter), through which small blunt needs are passed. When fully healed, the wounds become almost invisible.
Facial Fat Transfer
Facial Fat Transfer at Arnzi Aesthetica Surgicenter is performed under general anesthesia or IV sedation. Under general anesthesia the patient is a sleep state during the procedure.
Dr. Danielyan begins with collecting the fat during the Fat Transfer. During the process, similar to Liposuction, fat is removed with the help of a small blunt needle. When enough fat is removed preparation for the surgical transfer begins. Fat is inserted into several small syringes, by Dr. Danielyan, and thoroughly injected into requisite areas with slight amount to acquire a natural look. The most common areas for facial Fat Grafting are the upper lids, lips, smile lines cheeks, and temples.
After Facial Fat Transfer
When the influence of anesthesia largely passes, the patient may leave the clinic escorted by family or a friend. To decrease swelling the patient’s head should be raised using several pillows during sleep. Pains, typically, have mild nurture. Painkillers will be prescribed and should be used during this time, while relaxing and resting. Intense activities are not allowed (watching TV or reading is recommended). You may have post-operative bruising and swellings during 1-2 weeks following Fat Transfer. You will have postoperative revision one week after the procedure. Swelling subsides after a few weeks of the surgery. Usually you may return to work in 7-10 days after surgery. Light physical activity is allowed after 1-2 weeks following the Fat Transfer.
Avoid strenuous activity until 4-6 weeks after surgery. During the first six weeks a part of the transferred fat will melt, the residuary fat will be permanent. The residuary fat will change depending on your weight. After the first post-surgical meeting with the doctor you will have revision in 6 weeks, 6 months and one year following the Fat Grafting. After this meetings post-surgical photos will be taken.
