This manipulation extracts fat cells permanently. Fat cells that are remote can never return, but, if patient gains a significant amount of weight, then new fat cell can evolve. With a small weight growth, existing fat cells simply get bigger by accumulating more fat within existing cell. However, with a growth of more than 10% of body weight, one can expect new fat cell development in all zones of the body, including zones preliminarily treated by liposuction. As a grown-up persons gains larger amounts of weight, rising numbers of fat cells (lipocytes) are formed from existing pleuripotential connective tissue cells by a process of differentiation. Existing connective tissue cells first change into immature fat cells (lipoblasts), and then evolve into mature fat cells with progressive adiposity.
