When you can return to normal life?
After breast lift operation, it is possible return to work after a week or so, depending on kind of job. In most cases you may continue ordinary activities, including mild forms of exercises, after several weeks. Sometimes you may feel periodic discomfort during this time, but such feelings are normal. Heavy pains should be reported to our clinic in Yerevan, Armenia.
Any sexual activity should be abridged up to 1 or 2 weeks minimum, though Dr. Danielyan may advise to wait longer as you should be very careful with breast for at least the following few weeks.
Women typically recover after procedure in a few days, and are generally up on the next day of surgery, although bending and lifting must be done very carefully as it can be dangerous. It will be possible to return to work after about a week, depending on how they feel. It will be necessary to wear a surgical bra for the first few days, followed by a support bra for a few weeks after surgery. Breast lifts generally leave some bruising along the incisions. They will be diminished in 7-10 days. Postoperative scars will be prominent for at least three months following the surgery. Scarring will fade over time. Consult a surgeon, please, if you have any other questions about the recovery period.
