What happens if I gain weight after liposuction ?
The more weight a patient gains after procedure, the less dramatic results of procedure will be. In an ideal a patient should weigh less after procedure by an amount adequate to the weight of remote fat. Thus, after 80 kilos woman has two surgeries, where each surgery removes 2 kilos of fat (total of 4 kilos), she should ideally keep her weight at or below 76 kilos. However, if she gains 4 kilos and thus weighs 80 kilos six months after manipulation, then the cosmetic results will still be pleasing but not optimal. And if she were to weigh 90 kilos after surgery, then she would still look better than if she had not had any cosmetic surgery, and her clothes might fit better, but her results would be less than ideal.
