RHINOPLASTY

Rhinoplasty is nose surgery performed to correct aesthetic imperfections or improve breathing function. It allows the size and shape of the nose to be changed, the nasal hump to be removed, and asymmetries to be corrected.

Aesthetic rhinoplasty is recommended from the age of 17–18, when nasal growth is generally complete. In cases of serious breathing problems or congenital abnormalities, surgery may be performed at an earlier age.

Surgery is generally performed under general anesthesia. Local anesthesia may also be used for certain minor procedures.

The procedure takes an average of 1–2 hours. Two techniques are used:

  • Closed: The incisions are made inside the nostrils, leaving no external scars.
  • Open: A small incision is made between the nostrils for more complex corrections.

Swelling, bruising, and a feeling of numbness are normal during the first few weeks. The main side effects resolve within several weeks, although numbness at the tip of the nose may persist for up to 1–2 years.

  • Work/School: After 12–14 days
  • Flights: 10–14 days after surgery
  • Physical activity: After 4–6 weeks

Approximately 70% of the swelling subsides during the first 3 months, after which the shape becomes more visible. The final result develops over 1–3 years.

Possible risks include infection, bleeding, or a reaction to anesthesia. Complications are rare when the procedure is performed by a highly qualified surgeon. Smoking may slow the healing process.

This is a secondary surgery performed to correct the results of an initial operation. It is recommended to wait 1.5–2 years, when the tissues have fully recovered.

This is a non-surgical method in which injections such as Restylane or Juvederm are used to smooth out asymmetries. The result is temporary.

Insurance covers the costs only when functional breathing problems are being corrected, such as a deviated septum. Purely aesthetic surgery is not covered.

OTOPLASTY (EAR SURGERY)

Otoplasty can correct protruding ears by bringing them closer to the head, reduce the size of the auricle, or change its shape. It is also used to reconstruct congenital or acquired defects.

  • Anesthesia: Adults undergo the procedure under local anesthesia, while children under 8 receive general anesthesia.
  • Scars: Incisions are made behind the ear, so visible scars are not left.
  • Completion: A special pressure dressing is applied at the end of the surgery.

Pain and bruising are usually mild. Swelling generally disappears within 10 days. Numbness of the ears may last approximately 2–3 weeks, making the recovery period relatively easy for children.

The difference becomes apparent immediately after the pressure dressing is removed, usually after 7 days. The dressing must not be removed independently before the scheduled date in order to avoid infection and changes in shape.

  • Physical activity: Avoid rough play and sports for at least 1 week.
  • Care: Do not bend or twist the auricle for one month.
  • Return to daily activities: Adults can return to work after 3 days; children can return to school after 1 week.

Otoplasty is considered a safe procedure. Rare complications include asymmetry, infection, or a reaction to anesthesia. Following the doctor’s instructions minimizes these risks.

This is a minor procedure performed to repair torn earlobes, for example, due to stretching from earrings, or excessively stretched earlobes. Earrings can be worn again after surgery.

ABDOMINOPLASTY

This is a surgical procedure designed to restore the structure of the abdominal wall. It includes removing excess skin and fat, as well as tightening or repairing weakened or separated muscles. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia.

  • Liposuction removes only localized fat deposits. It is effective when the skin is elastic and can tighten on its own.
  • Abdominoplasty is necessary when there is sagging, “apron-like” skin or weakened muscles. Unlike liposuction, this surgery leaves a horizontal scar in the lower abdomen.

Abdominoplasty is an effective solution for women who have developed significant stretch marks, substantial skin laxity, or abdominal muscle diastasis after pregnancy. It provides a flat and smooth abdomen that cannot be achieved through liposuction alone.

Yes. The surgery does not prevent a normal pregnancy. However, it is recommended to undergo this procedure only when you no longer plan to have additional pregnancies, as a future pregnancy may stretch the muscles and skin again and affect the surgical result.

After abdominoplasty, a scar remains extending from the pubic area toward the hips. Although permanent, the incision is placed in an area that remains completely hidden even under a swimsuit. Over time, the scar becomes lighter and less noticeable.

Yes. Patients often combine abdominal wall tightening with breast lift or breast augmentation, commonly known as a “Mommy Makeover.” This decision is made individually based on the patient’s health and the risks associated with the duration of anesthesia.

One of the safest approaches is a staged procedure: liposuction is performed first, followed several months later by abdominoplasty once the tissues have recovered. This reduces the overall burden on the body.

Recovery usually takes about 2 weeks. After this period, most patients can return to office work. Physical exertion should be limited for a longer period according to the doctor’s instructions.

LIPOSUCTION (FAT REMOVAL)

Tumescent liposuction is a minimally invasive surgical technique in which a special solution is injected into targeted fat deposits. It loosens the fat and constricts the blood vessels, after which the fat is removed using a thin metal tube (cannula) with vacuum assistance. This method reduces bleeding and bruising.

The procedure is commonly performed on:

  • The abdomen and waist
  • The inner and outer thighs
  • The hips
  • The inner arms

For safety reasons, a maximum of 3–4 liters of fat may be removed during one procedure. For larger volumes, it is recommended to divide the surgery into several stages with 3–4-week intervals.

Because of swelling, the initial result may be hidden. Approximately 90% of the final result becomes visible within 1–3 months, once the swelling has completely subsided.

  • Compression garments: Depending on the technique, special compression garments should be worn for 1–8 weeks.
  • Restrictions: Avoid saunas, strenuous exercise, and swimming until the incisions have fully healed.
  • Care: You may remove the dressing yourself the following day.

No. Liposuction is intended to improve body structure and contours, not skin quality. Cellulite or skin laxity generally does not improve significantly as a result of this procedure.

Pregnancy does not change the permanent result of liposuction. If a woman returns to her pre-pregnancy weight after giving birth, the body shape achieved through liposuction can be restored.

BLEPHAROPLASTY

This is a surgical procedure in which excess skin, fat, and weakened muscle tissue are removed from the upper and lower eyelids. It refreshes the appearance and removes bags under the eyes.

Blepharoplasty may be considered when there are:

  • Drooping upper eyelids that cover the natural crease or interfere with vision
  • Puffy upper eyelids (“tired eyes”)
  • Bags under the eyes, dark circles, and fine lines
  • Lower eyelid drooping that exposes the white part of the eye (sclera)
  • Smoking: Stop at least 4 weeks before surgery.
  • Medications: Avoid aspirin and other anti-inflammatory medications that may increase bleeding.
  • Examination: Complete all required preoperative laboratory tests.

Scars are almost invisible because the incisions are made within the natural folds of the eyelids or inside the eyelid. After several months, they become almost unnoticeable.

No. Blepharoplasty is not intended to eliminate wrinkles at the corners of the eyes or raise the eyebrows. Laser resurfacing or Botox/Dysport injections may be recommended for these concerns.

  • Sutures: Removed 3–5 days after surgery
  • Swelling: Most swelling and bruising subsides within several days
  • Final appearance: Becomes visible once the swelling subsides

Botox

Botox is an injectable treatment based on a naturally occurring protein that helps smooth wrinkles and rejuvenate the face. It is effective for treating forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, crow’s feet at the corners of the eyes, and neck wrinkles.

Women and men between the ages of 18 and 65 who want to reduce pronounced expression lines and achieve smoother-looking skin are considered suitable candidates.

The injected substance temporarily relaxes the overactive muscles whose contractions cause wrinkles. The procedure takes only about 10 minutes and involves minimal discomfort.

No. This is a short procedure, and you can immediately return to your normal daily activities. The final result becomes visible over the course of several weeks.

The results generally last up to 4 months. To maintain smooth skin, repeat injections are recommended 3–4 times per year.

Botox is considered one of the safest cosmetic procedures. Rarely, temporary headache, nausea, or mild eyelid drooping may occur and usually resolve quickly. Injection into inflamed areas of the skin is not recommended.

DERMAL FILLERS

Fillers are injectable gels used to smooth wrinkles, correct facial imperfections, and restore lost volume. They are often called “non-surgical plastic surgery” because they can produce visible results without surgery.

Fillers are divided into two main groups:

  • Natural (absorbable): Made from substances compatible with the body, such as hyaluronic acid and collagen. They are gradually and safely absorbed under the skin.
  • Synthetic: Made from synthetic polymers and designed to provide longer-lasting or permanent results.

At our clinic, fillers are used for:

  • Increasing lip volume and correcting lip shape
  • Defining the cheekbones, cheeks, and chin
  • Non-surgical correction of the nose
  • Reducing forehead and eye-area wrinkles
  • Smoothing scars and acne marks

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the human body that helps maintain skin moisture and elasticity. As a filler, it is considered one of the safest options because it is well tolerated by the body and integrates easily with the skin.

Sculptra is a modern filler based on poly-L-lactic acid. It is particularly effective for facial volume loss (lipoatrophy), helping restore natural facial contours and stimulate collagen production.

The duration depends on the type and density of filler used and the treatment area. The effects of natural fillers generally last from 6 months to 1.5 years.

The procedure is not recommended in the following cases:

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Inflammatory skin conditions in the injection area
  • Immune system disorders and cancer

Allergic reactions to the specific substance

FACIAL LIPOFILLING

The procedure is suitable for both younger and older patients.

  • For younger patients, it can help enhance the cheekbones or increase lip volume.
  • For older patients, lipofilling can reduce signs of aging by restoring lost volume.

Lipofilling can be used to correct:

  • Nasolabial folds and deep wrinkles
  • Darkening around the eyes and tear troughs
  • Hollow temples and thin cheeks
  • Cheekbone definition

Yes. The clinic also performs body contouring using the patient’s own fat, including:

  • Buttock augmentation (Brazilian butt lift)
  • Breast augmentation as an alternative to implants

Several factors affect the stability of the result. Because the body naturally absorbs some of the transferred fat, the surgeon performs a slight overcorrection by injecting somewhat more than necessary. Subsequent significant weight changes can also affect the final appearance.

Complications are rare, but infection, asymmetry, hematomas, or fat cysts may occur. To reduce risks, it is important to follow all specialist instructions.

ENDOSCOPIC BROW LIFT

The procedure is recommended for patients with drooping eyebrows or eyelids, as well as pronounced deep forehead wrinkles. For optimal results, it is often combined with eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) or a facelift.

The surgery is performed through small incisions within the hair-bearing area. Using an endoscope (a specialized camera), the surgeon visualizes the surgical field, lifts the tissues, and secures them in their new position using special sutures or Endotine implants.

Unlike traditional techniques, endoscopic surgery requires much smaller incisions. This means:

  • Minimal visible scarring
  • Faster recovery
  • Lower likelihood of complications
  • Smoking: Stop at least 3–6 weeks before surgery.
  • Medications: Stop taking anti-inflammatory medications such as aspirin and ibuprofen 2 weeks before surgery to prevent bleeding.
  • Hygiene: Shower the day before and the morning of surgery.
  • Testing: Complete the required laboratory tests, including a blood test and ECG.
  • First days: Swelling and bruising may occur and usually resolve within 2–3 weeks.
  • Sutures: Removed after 10–14 days.
  • Care: Use artificial tears and the ointments prescribed by your doctor.
  • Restrictions: Avoid physical activity, makeup, and contact lenses for 2 weeks. Sleep with your head elevated at a 30° angle.

Although the initial change becomes visible after the swelling subsides, at approximately 1 month, the final aesthetic result develops within 3–4 months.

This is generally a one-day procedure. The patient is discharged the same day, although in some cases, or if you live far from the clinic, an overnight stay may be required.

BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT (BBL)

This is a surgical procedure designed to improve the shape and increase the volume of the buttocks using the patient’s own fat tissue. It can correct asymmetries and create a natural appearance.

The procedure is performed in two stages:

  • Fat harvesting: Fat is taken from areas where excess fat is present, such as the abdomen, hips, or thighs.
  • Injection: Processed and purified fat cells are injected into the buttock area using thin cannulas through 1–2 small incisions.

Unlike implants, a Brazilian butt lift offers:

  • Natural appearance: The patient’s own tissue is used, eliminating the risk of rejection of a foreign body.
  • Dual result: You simultaneously remove unwanted fat from other areas and enhance the buttocks.
  • Safety: The likelihood of injury and complications is minimal.

For optimal results, fat transfer may be combined with PRP therapy. Using the patient’s own platelets improves the recovery process and promotes better integration of the transferred fat cells.

The change in shape is noticeable immediately after surgery. However:

  • Swelling: Decreases within 2 weeks
  • Stabilization: Final stabilization of the transferred fat tissue takes approximately 3 months
  • Repeat procedure: Because approximately 30–40% of the transferred fat may not survive, a second stage may sometimes be required after 3 months to achieve the desired result.
  • Physical activity: Activity should be limited for approximately 2 weeks after surgery.
  • Special garments: Elastic compression garments should be worn around the clock for the first 3 weeks, and during the daytime for the following 3 weeks.
  • Sensation: Temporary changes in skin sensation generally resolve within 6–8 weeks.

BREAST AUGMENTATION

This is a surgical procedure designed to increase breast size, correct a defect, or achieve symmetry.

Breast augmentation is primarily performed in two ways:

  • Implant augmentation: The most common method. There are three approaches for implant placement: through an incision under the breast, around the nipple, or through the armpit. The implant is placed beneath the chest muscle or breast tissue. The procedure takes 1–2.5 hours. Advantages include predictable volume, good shape, and long-lasting results.
  • Lipofilling (fat transfer): The patient’s own fat is usually harvested from the abdomen or thighs, purified, and injected into the breasts. This method has certain limitations: limited enlargement, absorption of some of the transferred fat, and the possibility of requiring a repeat session.

You may be an ideal candidate if:

  • You feel your breasts are too small or disproportionate to your body
  • You want to restore lost symmetry
  • Your breasts have become saggy after significant weight loss
  • The shape and size of your breasts have changed as a result of pregnancy

This procedure is performed only after the breasts have fully developed. It is very important that the patient has reached sexual maturity and is fully informed about the risks and benefits of the procedure.

There are implants of different shapes and surface textures. The most common are round and anatomical implants. Their surfaces may be textured or smooth silicone. The choice of implant depends on the surgeon’s preference, the patient’s wishes, and the implant’s size and shape. For example, the choice between a round and anatomical implant depends on the desired breast shape.

Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited for 2 weeks before surgery. Their use increases the risk of infection and blood clots. Medications that increase blood circulation and may cause bleeding are also prohibited.

Recovery takes 2–3 weeks. During the first week after surgery, the patient can generally shower, and dressings are removed after several days. The patient can return to normal activities, but physical contact involving the breasts and heavy lifting should be avoided for approximately 3 weeks. Bruising resolves fairly quickly, while swelling subsides within about 1 month.

Keep in mind that arm movement may be limited for 2–3 weeks.

As with any surgery, breast augmentation carries certain risks. Possible complications include changes in breast or nipple sensation, thrombosis, infection, asymmetry, and skin irregularities (rippling).

Capsular contracture is one of the more common complications. The scar tissue around the implant hardens and becomes firm. Because capsular contracture compresses the soft implant, it may create a feeling of heaviness. In some cases, breast implants may rupture and cause leakage.
Most complications, such as swelling, bruising, scars, and tightness, resolve over time. Before surgery, it is very important to consult with our doctors and become familiar with the benefits and risks of the procedure.

BREAST REDUCTION

This is a surgical procedure in which excess fatty tissue, glandular tissue, and skin are removed. The procedure reduces breast size, corrects its shape and nipple position, and creates better body proportions.

It is recommended for adult women who experience the following problems because of large breasts:

  • Persistent back, neck, and shoulder pain
  • Poor posture and shortness of breath
  • Skin irritation caused by constant friction from a bra
  • Physical and psychological discomfort
  • Anesthesia: Performed exclusively under general anesthesia.
  • Duration: The procedure takes approximately 3–4 hours.
  • Technique: The surgeon makes an incision, usually an anchor-shaped incision, removes the excess tissue, and reshapes the breasts into a smaller, higher position.

As with any surgery, hematomas, infection, temporary loss of sensation, or asymmetry may occur. In rare cases, the ability to breastfeed may be lost, which should be discussed with the doctor before planning the surgery.

  • First days: A special surgical bra or elastic bandage is used.
  • Healing: Pain and swelling subside over several weeks.
  • Work: Returning to normal work is possible 1–6 weeks after the procedure, depending on the body’s rate of recovery.

The incisions are made so that the scars become as inconspicuous as possible over time and are hidden within the natural folds of the breast or beneath underwear.

BREAST LIFT (MASTOPEXY)

The surgery is appropriate when the breasts have retained their volume but have lost elasticity and become saggy. The main indications include:

  • Nipples and areolas pointing downward
  • The breast falling below the inframammary fold
  • Stretched skin after pregnancy or weight fluctuations

Yes. During a breast lift, the nipple and areola remain attached to the underlying tissues, allowing sensation and the ability to breastfeed to be preserved. However, future pregnancies may affect the aesthetic result of the surgery.

Depending on the degree of sagging, different incision techniques are used:

  • Classic method (anchor-shaped): Incisions around the areola, vertically downward, and horizontally beneath the breast.
  • Minor correction: An incision may be made only around the areola or only vertically.
  • Combination: If there is also a loss of volume, the lift can be combined with implant placement.
  • Sleeping: Sleep exclusively on your back to avoid pressure on the chest.
  • Movement: Avoid sudden movements, stretching, and bending.
  • Clothing: A special supportive bra must be worn for several weeks.
  • Sexual activity: Sexual intercourse is recommended to be avoided during the first 2 weeks.

Most patients can return to light office work approximately 1 week after the procedure. More active physical activity is permitted after several weeks with the doctor’s approval.

Initially, for up to 3 months, scars may be pink and noticeable. Over time, they become lighter and significantly less visible.

The surgery is considered low-risk. Rare complications include hematoma, infection, or temporary decreased nipple sensation, which generally returns within several weeks to one year.
